Queen Bee Candies

“Queen Bee Candies” is a fictional company centered around elegant candies created from organic honey. I designed the hexagonal candy box and constructed it, then collaborated with a photographer to bring my whole idea to life. The purple and gold bring an air of opulence to an otherwise simple treat.

Breakfast Illustration

A rendering of a typical morning scene, breakfast, hand drawn exclusively in Adobe Illustrator. Great care was taken with shadows and highlights, such as the glisten on the pancakes and syrup bottle.

Hell Postcard

“Welcome to Hell” isn’t a statement most people would like to hear, but that’s exactly what I had to convey with this project. Creating humorous postcards from Heaven and Hell took some creativity but I’m very happy with the end result.

Cran-WOW!

A branding project for a fictitious company, creating an identity for their new cranberry juice, "Cran-WOW!". The sparkling juice is a healthy alternative to soda, and with its small round bottle, it can easily be packed in school lunches. The target demographic was children ages 6-12. The mascot character, Cran-Man, is an abstract liquid form that takes the shape of a person. He demonstrates dynamic energy. The overall theme is "Making a splash", which is carried across with stripes, splash motifs, and liquid-like graphics.

Zenith Postcard

In the beginning of branding our school’s portfolio show, we split into groups and each took a different show theme to expand upon. We then pitched our ideas to the rest of the class. A cosmic themed portfolio show, under the name “Zenith”, was the direction I felt most called to. While our group did not win the pitch, I designed this postcard to better explain what the show could be. We wanted an airy, ethereal, and modern theme to invoke a sense of mystery.
